Teamsters Joint Council No. 73 and the FDNY will be participating in transporting ex-POWs from WWII to Washington DC from December 3rd thru December 6th, 2009

On December 4th, 2009 : While in Washington , we will be visiting and throwing a Christmas Party at Walter Reed Army Hospital for the Soldiers’ recovering there.

On December 5th, 2009 :  We will be visiting and throwing a Christmas Party at The Mologne House (The oldest Veterans home in the US ), and the Joint Council No. 73 along with the FDNY and the ex-POWs have been given permission from Congress and honored to lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldiers.

We are looking for donations to help the brave soldiers and their families enjoy the upcoming holidays.
